Shanghai

I have never been to Shanghai but it is on my list of places to visit. I am told by one who has been there that it is the city of the future with all the energy of New York. A 21st century city. As the skyscrapers multiply let’s hope they keep their heritage intact. There are different ‘quarters’ reflecting previous European influences – Russian, British and so on. Here is a photo of some of the old buildings taken from a high rise hotel.
