Two Way Mirror: The Life of Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Fiona Sampson It took me a little while to get into this biography, but in the end I enjoyed it very much. The author is a poet so the prose is beautiful and her poet's perspective adds a lot to the discussion of both Elizabeth's own poetry and the context in which she was writing.
