Saturday 22 March we woke to a wet day. Nevertheless stuck to our plan which was breakfast at Marly's and on to see Hotel de Invalides - time for some Napoleon! On Thursday (20 March) we woke to blue skies and a promise of warm weather so we opted for a long walk. Visiting Old Friends
Today (19 March) we went to Cimetiere du Pere Lachaise. The cemetery in the heart of Paris. Actually it's in the East in the 11 arrondissement. But first we had lunch at La Boulangerie. A Birthday Gift
Tuesday (18 March). We went on a wine tour - a birthday gift from my brother. A wonderful present as it turned out.
